Consultations

Consultations are by appointment only. To guarantee the best possible medical care and to avoid long waiting times, we recommend raising one problem per consultation.

Please tell us if you are coming for more than one person, and let us know in good time if you cannot make an appointment.

You can book online via afspraken.be or by phone on 014 58 65 76.

What to bring to your appointment?

Always bring your ID card and a list of your medication.

Prescriptions and certificates

Prescriptions and certificates are issued during a consultation only. To renew chronic medication you need to come in for a consultation. The doctor will then provide you with enough prescriptions, taking your underlying medical condition into account.

As a rule, no prescriptions are issued for family members. Medical certificates also require a prior examination.

Speaking to the doctor by phone & test results

In exceptional cases the doctor will speak to you by phone during consultation hours. We do urge you to keep the call short: neither doctor nor patient likes being interrupted during a consultation. Diagnoses cannot of course be made this way.

Blood results and imaging results are discussed during a consultation.

You can also consult your own medical data via mijngezondheid.belgie.be.

Home visits

[TO CONFIRM] Home visits are reserved for patients who cannot travel to the practice for medical reasons. Request a home visit by phone on 014 58 65 76, preferably before a time to be set by the practice.

Global Medical Record, fees and payment

Global Medical Record (GMD). Your GP collects all your medical data in a Global Medical Record. With a GMD you pay around 30% less out of pocket for a consultation with your GP. The GMD is renewed automatically each year when you come in for a consultation.

[TO CONFIRM] Whether the doctors work under the national agreement (RIZIV/INAMI rates), which patient contributions apply and whether the third-party payer scheme is used.

[TO CONFIRM] Payment options at the practice (cash, Bancontact, Payconiq).
